 Design, prototyping and characterization of concept as well as product design and transition to NPI of a LED PAPI (Precision Approach Path Indicator).

Invented the award winning Quarkstar Edge-X technology and took it from concept to production culminating  in the installation at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. [link]

Performed a technology review for a Venture Capital organization which led to the founding of CoolEdge Lighting. [link]

Strategic guidance, system development, LED benchmarking and technology assessment services have been provided to various clients both in North America and Europe.

 Performed optical, thermal & mechanical simulations as well as tear down analysis for competitive review and legal matters.

Worked on several arts projects simulating, testing and optimizing the interaction of various lighting technologies with the artwork and specified the final lighting technology and products for the applications.
